I can't believe it! From my buddy Christopher, I learned that Billy Freaken Bob Thorton will be Freddy Krueger in the new Nightmare on Elm Street!

The original Freddy, Robert Englund says Billy Bob is an "excellent choice" and, "A big budget should mean the film will look a lot better than some of the old movies."

I'm not sure how I feel about Billy Bob Thorton playing Freddy... Why not just bring back Robert Englund? I mean, what exactly is he doing now?
