A quick Bing search shows the population of the U.S. is approximately 318 million. Using the latest polls, 2/3 of all Americans were in favor of marriage equality. That means 1/3 wasn't or were undecided. That means, 106 million might not want marriage equality while 212 million do. Or, using their figure, 50 million Americans don't want marriage equality, and 268 million Americans do. Either way you look at it, far more Americans want marriage equality than not.
