Beau Biden, son of Vice President Joe Biden, has Died

Sad to report that Beau Biden has died from brain cancer.

He was surrounded by his entire family. Beau was only 46.

The family released a statement that reads:

It is with broken hearts that Hallie, Hunter, Ashley, Jill and I announce the passing of our husband, brother and son, Beau, after he battled brain cancer with the same integrity, courage and strength he demonstrated every day of his life.

The entire Biden family is saddened beyond words. We know that Beau's spirit will live on in all of us-especially through his brave wife, Hallie, and two remarkable children, Natalie and Hunter.

Beau's life was defined by service to others. As a young lawyer, he worked to establish the rule of law in war-torn Kosovo. A major in the Delaware National Guard, he was an Iraq War veteran and was awarded the Bronze Star. As Delaware's Attorney General, he fought for the powerless and made it his mission to protect children from abuse.

More than his professional accomplishments, Beau measured himself as a husband, father, son and brother. His absolute honor made him a role model for our family. Beau embodied my father's saying that a parent knows success when his child turns out better than he did.

In the words of the Biden family: Beau Biden was, quite simply, the finest man any of us have ever known.

Rachel Maddow breaks down Dennis Hastert Indictment

READ The Presidential Proclamation for LGBT Pride Month

From the moment our Nation first came together to declare the fundamental truth that all men are created equal, courageous and dedicated patriots have fought to refine our founding promise and broaden democracy's reach. Over the course of more than two centuries of striving and sacrifice, our country has expanded civil rights and enshrined equal protections into our Constitution. Through struggle and setback, we see a common trajectory toward a more free and just society. But we are also reminded that we are not truly equal until every person is afforded the same rights and opportunities -- that when one of us experiences discrimination, it affects all of us -- and that our journey is not complete until our lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) brothers and sisters are treated like anyone else under the law.

Across our Nation, tremendous progress has been won by determined individuals who stood up, spoke out, and shared their stories. Earlier this year, because of my landmark Executive Order on LGBT workplace discrimination, protections for Federal contractors went into effect, guarding against discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. The Federal Government is now leading by example, ensuring that our employees and contractors are judged by the quality of their work, not by who they love. And I will keep calling on the Congress to pass legislation so that all Americans are covered by these protections, no matter where they work.

In communities throughout the country, barriers that limit the potential of LGBT Americans have been torn down, but too many individuals continue to encounter discrimination and unfair treatment. My Administration supports efforts to ban the use of conversion therapy for minors because the overwhelming scientific evidence demonstrates that it can cause substantial harm. We understand the unique challenges faced by sexual and gender minorities -- especially transgender and gender non-conforming individuals -- and are taking steps to address them. And we recognize that families come in many shapes and sizes. Whether biological, foster, or adoptive, family acceptance is an important protective factor against suicide and harm for LGBTQ youth, and mental health experts have created resources to support family communication and involvement.

For countless young people, it is not enough to simply say it gets better; we must take action too. We continue to address bullying and harassment in our classrooms, ensuring every student has a nurturing environment in which to learn and grow. Across the Federal Government, we are working every day to unlock the opportunities all LGBT individuals deserve and the resources and care they need. Too many LGBTQ youth face homelessness and too many older individuals struggle to find welcoming and affordable housing; that is why my Administration is striving to ensure they have equal access to safe and supportive housing throughout life. We are updating our National HIV/AIDS Strategy to better address the disproportionate burden HIV has on communities of gay and bisexual men and transgender women. We continue to extend family and spousal benefits to legally married same-sex couples. And because we know LGBT rights are human rights, we are championing protections and support for LGBT persons around the world.

All people deserve to live with dignity and respect, free from fear and violence, and protected against discrimination, regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation. During Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month, we celebrate the proud legacy LGBT individuals have woven into the fabric of our Nation, we honor those who have fought to perfect our Union, and we continue our work to build a society where every child grows up knowing that their country supports them, is proud of them, and has a place for them exactly as they are.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim June 2015 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month. I call upon the people of the United States to eliminate prejudice everywhere it exists, and to celebrate the great diversity of the American people.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this twenty-ninth day of May, in the year of our Lord two thousand fifteen, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and thirty-ninth.

Cruel Intentions Reunion

This is so golden!

Reese Witherspoon, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair had a mini Cruel Intentions reunion during the film's unauthorized musical parody in Los Angeles. I wish I was there!

Gay Hotelier Ian Reisner actually donated to Ted Cruz's Campaign

The gay hoteliers Ian Reisner and Mati Weiderpass are still causing drama. I thought this mess was over, turns out, it isn't. Ian Reisner wrote a check to ted Cruz's presidential campaign! This piece of souse meat made a $2,700 donation to the anti-gay crackhead.

The New York Times reports that Ian gave this donation after he said he didn't. Then, he called the campaign and asked for his check to be refunded.

Here's more
“In the interest of transparency, I gave Senator Cruz a $2,700 check to show my support for his work on behalf of Israel,” Mr. Reisner said in a statement he provided after The Times learned of the donation from two people with direct knowledge of it. “When I realized his donation could be misconstrued as supporting his anti-gay marriage agenda, I asked for the money back. Senator Cruz’s office gave the money back, and I have no intention of giving any money to any politicians who aren’t in support of L.G.B.T. issues.”
I can't with this Ian. I mean, how daft is this guy? Seriously, you gave money to someone you knew nothing about? If that's the case, you can hand me a donation since you know nothing about me.

North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory veto the Anti-Gay SB2

This is great news for North Carolinas

Conservative state lawmakers passed SB2, a bill that would've allowed government employees to discriminate against gay couples by denying marriage licenses.

They sent the bill up to Governor Pat McCrory, but he vetoed it. In a press release, he said:
"I recognize that for many North Carolinians, including myself, opinions on same-sex marriage come from sincerely held religious beliefs that marriage is between a man and a woman. However, we are a nation and a state of laws. Whether it is the president, governor, mayor, a law enforcement officer, or magistrate, no public official who voluntarily swears to support and defend the Constitution and to discharge all duties of their office should be exempt from upholding that oath; therefore, I will veto Senate Bill 2."
I bet their faces are cracked!

Hate Group wants FOX to drop the new series LUCIFER

The American Family Association took time from their anti-gay schedule to attack FOX over the new series, Lucifer.

In their blog, the wrote this mess:
FOX has plans to air a new series which will glorify Satan as a caring, likable person in human flesh.

The series will focus on Lucifer, "who is bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell." He resigns his throne, abandons his kingdom and retires to Los Angeles, where he gets his kicks helping the LAPD punish criminals.

At the same time, God's emissary, the angel Amenadiel, has been sent to Los Angeles to convince Lucifer to return to the underworld.

Previews of the pilot show depict graphic acts of violence, a nightclub featuring scantily-clad women and a demon.
So, they can chalk this up to their failed list of missions.

Interesting Quote: Ezra Miller

It was unconscious when it happened. It was a conversation much like this with a human being I felt a kinship to, but within the official context of an interview. It's not something I had given a spectacular amount of thought to, but I told her how I identified. It's been interesting these past couple of years seeing the way that media and culture has received that statement. When I identified as queer, even though I said that most of my partners had been women, [it was] immediately: gay actor, Ezra Miller. When I identify as queer, it simply means that I don't wish to conform to the binary system when it comes to who and how we love. I'm glad to have identified as queer, first of all because it's true, and because I think ultimately, when we are creating the identity that we present to the world, if it can be close to the identity we actually maintain in our personal lives, [it] will probably end up being more comfortable and sustainable.

Duggar Drama: In 2011 The Duggars Tells us how women Mislead by the way they Dress

Hot Trailer - 54: The Director's Cut

If you remember, in the late 90s, there was the movie 54.

The film didn't do so well, but it was kind of a cult classic after-the-fact. However, what was interesting about 54 was the version that we saw at the time, was not the version that was originally set to go into theaters.

So, now here is the real (gayer) version of 54, the directors cut version.

Vice President Joe Biden on Ireland's Vote for Marriage Equality

Last weekend, more than 1.2 million Irish voters took a courageous stand for love and family when they overwhelmingly chose marriage equality.

They recognized the fundamental truth that every person is entitled to dignity and respect, and that there can be no justification for the denigration or persecution of anyone because of who they love or who they are.

I want to thank my good friends Taoiseach Enda Kenny, and Tanaiste Joan Burton, for their forceful leadership and eloquent advocacy on this critical issue.

I cannot improve upon the perfectly Irish statements they made following this historic vote, but I can echo the Taoiseach’s words when he described the Irish as “a generous, compassionate, bold and joyful people,” and that their choice will be “heard loudly across the living world as a sound of pioneering leadership.”

In 22 years, Ireland has gone from a nation where simply being LGBT was against the law. Now, it is a nation where the people resoundingly stand for equal rights.

And here in the United States, in just the past three years we’ve gone from six states recognizing marriage equality, to 37 states, comprising 224 million Americans. It’s about love. It’s about equality. It’s about dignity. It’s about our most cherished values. That’s what this is about – it’s all it’s ever been about.

There is still work to be done. There are still too many nations that deny people even the right to be safe from violence and severe discrimination, and too many states here in America that allow a person to be fired simply for being lesbian, gay, transgender or bisexual.

But the progress is undeniable. As advocates in Ireland, the United States and around the world have proven time and again, where there’s passion and commitment, there is opportunity.

I continue to believe that in every corner of the world, people want to do the right thing. You should never underestimate the epiphanies that follow when a culture makes a breakthrough of conscience.

But it takes leadership. It takes courageous individuals who are willing to step forward, to turn adversity into positive change, and to truly live the words of the great Irish poet William Butler Yeats:

“Do not wait to strike till the iron is hot, but make it hot by striking.”

Interesting Quote: Brian Brown

We live in a challenging time, one where our national leaders increasingly seem to deny the importance of some of our founding national principles, not the least of which is religious liberty. Indeed far from being willing to fight to defend this core foundational principle so that is passed to the next generation, some national leaders seem intent on undercutting it. Indeed, we've seen baseless charges of "bigotry" and "discrimination" leveled at those with sincerely-held religious objections to participating in things like same-sex 'wedding' ceremonies and providing health insurance coverage for abortion-inducing drugs. For a large number of governmental and cultural elites, the concept of "religious liberty" is being reduced to being able to worship in private, but not to actually live your faith principles in the public square.

Zsuzsanna Anderson lashes out at The Duggars

The wife of Pastor (AIDS free Christmas) Steven Anderson, Zsuzsanna isn't a fan of the Duggars and had plenty to say about them. In an article in Raw Story, Miss Girl laid it all out of them.

Here's a piece:
“I believe that all pedophiles are reprobates, that they are unregenerate and in fact can never change, and that they, like all sexual deviants, should be executed as the Bible demands, lest they spread their abusive ways and corrupt more innocent lives.”

and
“It was insane to think they could become celebrities, and this not come to light with as many people as were involved in it. Did they consider the repercussions on their son’s life, who would even under the best of circumstances have been reeling to recover from this (if that is even possible)? Did they think the world, who was looking for any way to attack them, was going to look the other way on this? Great shame has been brought upon the cause of Christ through their desire to be rich, popular, or both.”
There's more, but this crazy lashing out that family of crazies was golden.

Remember when Jim Bob Duggar said Incest Should be Punishable by Death?

Back in 2002, Jim Bob was running for U.S. Senate. During his campaign, he said many silly things. But this particular piece was... Interesting.

At the time, he said incest should be punishable by death.

You can see his stance here

I guess those rules apply to others and NOT their family, because Josh is still round and about.

Mike Huckabee on gay marriage: The Supreme Court is not the 'Supreme Being'

Fans are screaming as we speak... Including me

To Those Who are Supporting Josh Duggar

This Josh Duggar drama has really got me thinking about how folks use religion to protect crimes and criminals. I have been reading a lot on Twitter and Facebook when it comes to his story, it's very interesting to see how some christians come out and support Josh.

Now, I do understand you want to forgive people and you want to see the best in others, but I have never seen this type of forgiveness given to people like Michael Brown or Trayvon Martin. I haven't seen others Christians treat them with the way Josh is being treated. What Josh did is completely wrong... So wrong. Why are people trying to defend him? Is it too much to believe? Well, truth hurts and the truth is Josh Duggar is a child molester.

The way you are jumping in save Josh is ridiculous and tired. To excuse his actions as a mistake or the Devil's plan is a new low. Josh is what he is... a liar, a deceiver, a sex offender, hypocrite and a child molester. You can continue to pray for him, but you should also hold him accountable. Why is that so hard to do?

Interesting Quote: Donald Trump

The Christians are being treated horribly because we have nobody to represent the Christians. Believe me, if I run and I win, I will be the greatest representative of the Christians they've had in a long time.

TLC snatches '19 Kids and Counting' from their Line-Up

Well, TLC finally got it together and pulled the heinous series, '19 Kids and Counting' from their line-up. This comes after Josh Duggar admitted to molesting 5 girls, 4 of them are his sisters. Social media demanded for TLC to cancelled the series, seems like they were listening.

Now let's wait for the conservatives to jump in to defend them.

Mike Huckabee still supports The Duggar Family

From his Facebook

Janet and I want to affirm our support for the Duggar family. Josh’s actions when he was an underage teen are as he described them himself, 'inexcusable,' but that doesn’t mean 'unforgivable.' He and his family dealt with it and were honest and open about it with the victims and the authorities. No purpose whatsoever is served by those who are now trying to discredit Josh or his family by sensationalizing the story. Good people make mistakes and do regrettable and even disgusting things. The reason that the law protects disclosure of many actions on the part of a minor is that the society has traditionally understood something that today’s blood-thirsty media does not understand—that being a minor means that one's judgement is not mature. No one needs to defend Josh’s actions as a teenager, but the fact that he confessed his sins to those he harmed, sought help, and has gone forward to live a responsible and circumspect life as an adult is testament to his family’s authenticity and humility. Those who have enjoyed revealing this long ago sins in order to discredit the Duggar family have actually revealed their own insensitive bloodthirst, for there was no consideration of the fact that the victims wanted this to be left in the past and ultimately a judge had the information on file destroyed—not to protect Josh, but the innocent victims. Janet and I love Jim Bob and Michelle and their entire family. They are no more perfect a family than any family, but their Christian witness is not marred in our eyes because following Christ is not a declaration of our perfection, but of HIS perfection. It is precisely because we are all sinners that we need His grace and His forgiveness. We have been blessed to receive God’s love and we would do no less than to extend our love and support for our friends. In fact, it is such times as this, when real friends show up and stand up. Today, Janet and I want to show up and stand up for our friends. Let others run from them. We will run to them with our support.

Michael Sam signs deal to play with Montreal Alouettes in Canada

Good news for Michael Sam.

He just signed a deal to play with Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League. Here's more:
“With the signing of Michael Sam, we have become a better organization today,” said Alouettes’ general manager, Jim Popp. “Not only have we added an outstanding football player, we have added even a better person that brings dignity, character, and heart to our team.”

In his last year with Missouri, he was named on the first-team All-SEC, in addition to receiving joint SEC Defensive Player of the Year honours with CJ Mosley of the University of Alabama. He led the conference with 11.5 total sacks and 21 tackles for losses. He also forced a fumble, which he returned for a touchdown during the Cotton Bowl, helping the Tigers defeat the Oklahoma State University Cowboys by a score of 41-31.

“I am very excited and proud to join the Montreal Alouettes and want to thank team Owner Robert Wetenhall, General Manager Jim Popp and Head Coach Tom Higgins for this opportunity,” declared the Alouettes newest member. “I cannot wait to put on the pads, get back on the field and work hard each and every day with my teammates to bring a Grey Cup to the great fans here in Montreal.”
I'm happy for him, because he finally gets to play. Good luck, Michael.

Josh Duggar Molested Five Girls as a Teen

Josh Duggar, one of the kids from the hateful family, The Duggars, has just admitted that he molested five girls as a teen. Let me say that again, molested 5 girls as a teen! Here is his statement from PEOPLE magazine.
"Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends. I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life."
Because of this mess Josh has resigned from his position at the Family Research Council, which is a hate group led by Tony Perkins. I'm telling you - you can't make this stuff up! This family has been out here spreading so much anti-gay hate and family values crap, while harboring a child molester in their midst.

I want to hear how Tony is going to explain this.

Anti-Gay Pastor who was Caught on Grindr almost drove a Gay Teen to Suicide

I think some of you have heard about the pastor named Matthew Makela who has preached against homosexuality and everything else that's not Christian. Well, he was recently outed for being on Grindr.

Yes, there are pictures of him talking about how he basically likes dick, how he likes to cuddle and all that jazz. It's just interesting, because I don't know why he thought that no one recognize him on the hookup app. Anywho, Matthew has been in a lake of fire since his pics has been exposed. In fact, Matthew just resigned from his position.

But it doesn't stop there.

For long time, Matthew preached to young gay kids about how being gay is a sin and the wagers of sin is death, you know, all that brimstone mess they always try to tell you. Well one teen, Taylor Kish, has come out to talk about that experience and how it feels to know that Matthew was gay all along, check it out.

Dallas BBQ Brawler has been Identified

Well, NYPD has identified the guy involved in the Dallas BBQ fight. According to NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce, his name is Bayna El-Amin and he's a "career criminal". They haven't arrested Bayna, he is believed to have fled the state.

It is true that he has a history of crime, from credit card fraud to invasion of privacy, so he's no angel. We still don't know if he's gay. His Facebook page has been deleted, however he did make a comment on a Voguing battle via Gawker

I think it's interesting that he hasn't been caught or it took this long to ID him. It's like the NYPD doesn't see this as a serious matter or the HATE CRIME everyone was so quick to label.

Gay Marriage Support Update! 6 in 10 people now support Gay Marriage

From Gallup
Public support for the legality of same-sex marriage first reached a majority in 2011, when 53% supported it. Since then, support has ranged from 48% to 55%. The five-percentage-point increase in this year's Values and Beliefs poll, conducted May 6-10, is the largest year-to-year climb since 2011, when support rose by nine points.

Support for the legality of gay marriages in the U.S. has been a fast-changing trend. Just two decades ago, only 27% of Americans backed gay marriage, while 68% opposed. By 2005, the percentage in favor had increased by 10 points to 37%, and by 2010 it had reached 44%.

The record high in support comes roughly one month before the Supreme Court is to issue a ruling on the constitutionality of same-sex marriage. Americans, at this point, are not highly familiar with the case, with 42% following it closely -- well below the average 60% for news issues Gallup has measured over the past two decades. Attention to the case is similar among supporters and opponents of gay marriage.

Bobby Jindal issues an Executive Order for Religious Freedom

Bobby Jindal just reached a new low.

After losing the battle to have this raggedy religious freedom law HB 707 died, he decides to just push through an executive order and redefine what a person is check out this piece from the executive order:
the federal Religious Freedom Restoration Act contains virtually identical language toprohibit the federal government from imposing a substantial burden upon a person’sexercise of religion absent a compelling governmental interest and a showing that theaction taken is the least restrictive means of furthering that compelling governmentalinterest;WHEREAS, in June, 2014, the United States Supreme Court, in Burwell v. Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc.,134 S.Ct. 2751 (2014), expressly held that the federal Religious Freedom Restoration Actof 1993 prohibits the federal government from requiring a “person” to act incontravention of a sincerely held religious belief, and that the definition of “person”includes individuals, non-profit, or for-profit corporations;
He thinks this will push him as a top candidate for president, however according to the numbers of people who are against religious freedom law, he's basically shot himself in the foot. It's also interesting that in 2014 he lashed out against President Obama for using an executive order funny how that just seems it slipped his mind when he decided to do this today.

A Trans Woman Murdered in an Abandon Building - UPDATE

Sad news...

London Chanel Allen, a trans woman, was murdered this past weekend. London was involved in an arguement that quickly moved into an assault. London was stabbed in the back and in the neck.

Here's more:

Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said an argument between Chanel and her 31-year-old alleged attacker sparked the deadly incident inside a middle bedroom on the third floor of the house. The verbal tiff soon grew into a physical fight that ended with Chanel being stabbed twice in the back and once in the neck, according to Small.

The attacker and another person, who witnessed the stabbing, carried the woman downstairs and placed her on quilts outside the home. They were doing CPR on the victim when they saw a School District of Philadelphia officer nearby.
Small said they flagged the officer down for help who then called Philadelphia Police.

Officers rushed the victim to Hahnemann University Hospital where she was pronounced dead just after 1 a.m., police said. Nellie Fitzpatrick, Director of LGBT Affairs for the city, confirmed Monday afternoon that Chanel was a member of the transgender community and said she was "devastated" by the loss.

There's been no arrest as of yet. Sadly, this is the 8th known murder of a Trans woman of color.
