Speaking for myself, no way.
Wouldn't being close friends defeat the purpose? Shouldn't it be more like having a golf buddy, or tennis buddy, or gym buddy than having a close friend?
In my experience the fuck buddy can turn into a good friend but that is pretty much when the sexy has faded away in place f a friendship. Which is ok.
You can indeed. However, it takes two very mature people with very similar values.....
