Great News! Melrose Place BOMBED in ratings!

Y'all may know, I hated the idea of a Melrose Place reboot and Hera knows I hate CW. However, I was overjoyed to learn that the season premier failed expectations.

It debuted to low numbers (2.3 million viewers overall). More folks watch reruns of "Cheaters" and "Family Guy".

In fact "Hell's Kitchen, "More to Love" and a REPEAT of "America's Got Talent" scored much higher.

90201 also scored low in ratings, proving that too much of the same thing leads to disaster. Maybe CW will consider bringing back "The Game" or something with a diverse and INTERESTING cast. But until then, I'll enjoy the network's slow death with a two piece and a biscuit

Diverse and interesting will not be on network TV for awhile unfortunately, I suspect. But, I did like "90210." I know, shoot me now!

Yeah, the CW is nothing but a young white girl network these days. They don't care to target anyone but that demographic, but wait a minute isn't Disney, Nickelodeon, the N/TeenNick, and just about every young person network targeting these days? It's like diversity is something to be shunned.

I thought Melrose Place had a great potiental start with the death of Syndey. ANd just watching it, I really thought it had potiental in general anyway. I don't get why it did bad. I"m a huge fan and I loved the episodes back then. I gave this new one a chance with an open mind and I see nothing wrong with it. Maybe it was the lack of promotion? Not alot of people know about the come back of Melrose Place yet. and CW isn't exactly a huge network to give that come back.
